It really does give you that special feeling. Whenever people ask when my bithday is, and I tell them, I always get the "awwww...you poor guy." When I get that reaction, I always tell them that my parents were amazing! Because August has no holidays, they would always have a big "Chris-mass" day for me. This included "Mass"-ive cakes, "Mass"-ive jumpy houses and a variety of other special things just for me. They treated as if it was my birthday and it made me feel very special. When Christmas comes around, the Happy Birthday wishes come, but I dont feel bad if they do not. As a Christmas Baby, I must say, I kind of like it. It really does give you that special feeling. My parents did their best, but there will always be that birthday void. Watching my sister have a real birthday and a Christmas and having to give out presents on MY birthday has made me bitter towards the Christmas celebration. I think we are all brats and i think having this birthday makes people a bit more selfish than if they had a plain old birthday. . . This year im not even getting excited for Christmas or my birthday cause some things never change. Instead of getting frustrated with it i've decided to accept it like any other day and see if my expectations are what keeps disappointing me.
